Lost Temples. Northern Siem Reap, Cambodia Photo Collection on my iStockphoto Collection
Giant tree growing over the Beng Mealea Temple Complex. A forgotten temple from the Angkor Wat Time Period in Northern Cambodia in the tropical rainforest. Beng Mealea was originally built as a Hindu temple, but some newer carvings depict Buddhist motifs. The history of the temple is unknown and it can be dated only by its architectural style, identical to Angkor Wat to the 12th century. Beng Mealea, Northern Cambodia. The North of Siem Reap, Cambodia, South East Asia. I took those photos with a resolution of 102 Megapixel with a Hasselbad X2D 100C Camera together with the Hasselblad XCD 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 zoom lens.
