Last week I returned from a short one week trip to Seattle, Washington, USA. Between the 8th and 10th August the first istockphoto Diamondlypse took place in Seattle. The list of diamond contributers attending this istockalypse was really a kind of ‘who is who’ of the istockphoto community. I was pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of this ‘diamond-contributer-only’ istock event.
To have a collection of all the photos taken at this Diamond’lypse event I established an iStockphoto Lightbox where all participants of the Diamond’lypse in Seattle can add their images. You find this Diamond’Lypse lightbox here:
As of today I didn`t find time to process a lot my images from seattle. I`ve still to process a lot of images from the last weeks and months before the seattle event. So, a lot more from the Diamondlypse Seattle will come up into istockphoto by mid-september. Anyway as a kind of preview, here are images I processed recently and the first bunch from the Diamondlypse in Seattle.

Businessmen, Businesswomen – Business People, Groups and Teams. You really find Zillions of those kind of shots on the internet, in magazins, brochures and annual reports. There is defintely a huge demand for stock photos around this topic.
Personally, I really don`t like this topic very much. You just see too often those successful people in business suits smiling; very often together with notebooks, cell phones and other ‘business style’ electronic gadgets; – mostly they of course ‘are having fun’. In reality it’s a bit different, but nobody wants to see this reality in the media or advertising industry at the moment. Anyway, in a diversified stock portfolio, you simply ‘have to’ cover this kind of images. Here is an overview of photos I took around this mainstream topic in the last one and a half year.
