Some weeks ago in february I played around with the animoto video tool. Some months later I think it was time again produce a new short portfolio clip. So here is the result. A short video clip of people & model images I took or processed in the first six/seven months of the year 2008. All of those can be found and downloaded from my istockphoto portfolio. Have fun.

This number is now reached within 2.5 years of uploading my images to istock. And yiiipiiie, I just received the new shiny, fabulous iStock Oscar Icon behind my 'Mlenny' Avatar there. What a BIG Number. Wow. Thanks to all for reading the blog and downloading, sitemailing + rating my Images on my iStockphoto Portfolio. And a special thanks to all iStockfriends I met during the last 2.5 year here in the community and in reality...Even with that big number, I still feel the best has yet to come...

Thanks to AJ (Richvintage) for setting up and organising a beautiful and perfect RedRockalypse2 in St. George, Utah. As it`s quiete a long flight (18.5 hours to Las Vegas with 2 stop-overs) I spent more some more days in the USA. The RR2 took place on 2 days (Friday & Saturday) and before and after the minilypse I visited Las Vegas (yes, my frist time!), Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and the Death Valley in California.

Alone? No! I flew together with Olaf & Olaf (archives) + Holger (Beanxxl) to Las Vegas. There we met up with Nuno (phfft) and Brent (Brentman), they showed us Europeans the 'Viva Las Vegas' feeling...(not only that!) and unbelievable but true, we lucky germans even made some dollars by playing roulette in Las Vegas ( I think this is really unbelievable).

After Las Vegas we convoyed to St. George, Utah where the RR2 took place.... I will upload soon the shots from the USA trip, meanwhile I first have to go through my latest Buenos Aires shots... here are the newest I uploaded from the Buenos Aires Sessions four weeks ago...

...no, no, no... i`m staying with STILL photography!! But I like video and/or film together with good music. So here is a 3 minute video of approx. 100 Images from my iStockphoto portfolio. Thanks to the new website animoto.com I discovered by surfing through the web. It really only takes a few minutes to produce your own slideshow of images. So try it out on your own.

...a very late happy new year 2008 to all of you, thanks for all of your mails and 'happy new year' wishes. I couldn`t answer them 'in time' as i just returned from a trip to Namibia, South West Africa, where it`s really hard to find an internet connection. As a start into 2008 here is an overview of the first bunch of shots I took in the amazing and beautiful country of namibia. I will add more images within the next weeks.
