I am sure there will be much, much more tourism in the next years, as the whole emirates are a kind of "building-up a miniature world in the desert" - so in between bentleys, rolexes, jackob & co. watches, vertu cell phones, prada, cartier, gucci, dsquared & fashion colleagues, i prefered visiting the 'nature areas' of the united arab emirates, as i didn`t want to make holidays in "NY 5th Avenue II" or "Zuerich Bahnhof-Strasse", whatever... i looked for tranquility and relaxation, and yes again, you can find it there. (but: you need to rent a car!) ((no, a 'hummer' jeep is NOT essential!)). Here you see some of the shots i uploaded in 2007 from this trip:
