Sorry Cubanas, Mr. Ernesto Che Guevara and Mr. Fidel Castro for destroying the unique and legendary claim. I didn`t like the cheesy 'Viva la Resolución" or 'Che'lypse' titels used for the Buenos Aires iStockalpyse, so 'Hasta la razon siempre!' just fits better for this event.

Is Eastern a time to relax? Yes it is. But I used the free-time during the 'snow-rainy-shit' weather here in Germany to process some images I took during the trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina & during a small one day 'jump over' to Colonia, Uruguay. The Che'lypse in Buenos Aires was again an amazing iStockphoto event. Meeting old friends and new friends and iStock contributers in this beautiful South American City is worth every 13.5 hour flight. I really fell in love (again) with this city & the Argentinian people (old and new friends) I met there.

The model shots from the iStockalypse event will follow soon, meanwhile, you'll find here some impressions around ofthe famous places of Buenos Aires, together with some images from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands (Las Malvinas!), I visited nearly excatly one year ago.

What the hell is an iStockalypse event ? I think, you can get best answer in Lee's Blog - Microstock Diaries - 10 Things You Didn’t Know About iStockalypse.It was a real pleasure to talk to him about photography, travel, hobby, exclusive contributer versus independent microstocker etc. I hope to meet him somewhere again soon. Also I'd like to thank all the organisers, admins, inspectors and staff of this top event: Brainsil & Dphotographer, Kangah, Ivar, Subman, Devolution, Caracterdesign, Evilclown, Echodelta, Ratstuben, PepeLaguarda, Nsadoway, Evilclown and last but not least JJRD. Sorry this is definitely not a complete list...

One thing is for sure. This was definitely not my last trip to Argentina.
