Autumn in Germany. It`s getting colder, rainy and the nights are getting longer. Time to do some homework by processing and uploading new images from the past months.

There has been a lot of discussions between contributers recently about the new microsite www.istockcharts.de. This Website gives an overview of Total Downloads, Downloads within a certain amount of time and much more informations (all sortable) of istockphoto contributers.
All those informations about istock contributers are and have been public since years. Multimedia.de meshed those informations together into sneaky, naughty little website. Meanwhile contributers which don`t want to be on the list can opt-out of it, then they appear as ‘anonymous’ there. But why should contributers opt-out? The Top Contributers there are already very well known and some of them even promote their “Ranking Positions” on their own websites or blogs.
In my opinion those opting-out are a littly ‘sissy’ or ‘chickenhearted” as their informations could be found elswhere like in ‘Duncan1890′sBlog, istockphoto TOP 1000 Contributers and the different contributers can even be compared like on the website of www.istock-apps.com (You need an iStockphoto account to log-in)
So try it out and make up your own opinion, it might be an inspiration for you find the next stock photography shooting stars there.
